The NFHA Board of Directors recently proposed changes to the current NFHA Bylaws. Even though according to the current bylaws the changes can be approved by the board, we would like to give the NFHA members 30 days to comment on the changes. After the board considers the comments received during the 30-day period, the board will take a vote to approve or disapprove the changes.

Some of the changes clarify the purpose of the membership meetings. The changes also provide clarification that the committees can propose rules and make recommendations to the board, but only the board can approve rules, approve the budget, and approve spending of NFHA funds outside the budget.
